Get Rid of Allergens In the Air Today

Clean the air you breathe. If you suffer from allergies, an air purifier is an excellent investment. For those who are bothered by dust, pollen, or molds, an air purifier can be especially effective in providing relief. With windows and doors closed, run a good quality air purifier. After I clean my room, I usually run mine for a few hours. I even turn on the ceiling fan. This will kick up any dust and pollen that is hidden, and you air purifier will pick it all up and filter it out. When you first get an air purifier, I recommend using it everyday for the first few weeks. At first, you might use up your filter in a few weeks but once your room is under control and free of allergens, filters will last about 6 months to a year, depending on you specific needs. I would use it about twice a week after that. Especially after regular cleaning and vacuuming. I always use mine during the day or evening and turn it off at bedtime. It works great. Get Rid of Allergies By Covering Your Mattress and Box spring

Get some allergy mattress covers. For both, mattress AND the box spring. Lots of dust collects inside of your bedding. Dust mites can live in both, your mattress AND your box spring. Covering both help greatly. Initially, using my allergy cover was uncomfortable. The plastic crinkled with every movement. However, I found a solution by taking the original cloth mattress cover and placing it over the new allergy cover. This eliminated the problem. Now, it feels like the allergy cover isn’t even there. This solution is awesome! I sleep much much better. The positive results are almost unbelievable. Wish I did it sooner. You’ll see! Visit our Allergy Shop for: Dust Mite Mattress Protector.

Get Rid of Allergies By Allergy Proofing Your Home

Clean surfaces to eliminate allergens. Do NOT use a feather duster. That just spreads it in the air. It will make your allergy reactions worse. I use hot tap water and a little Pine-Sole disinfectant or Mr. Clean. Both work great. With small pail of water with a little cleaner, use a washcloth, dip it in the cleaning solution and ring it out. Then wipe every surface area you can. From dressers, bedposts, to top of the ceiling fan blades. (be careful on what kind of wood you use this on) This procedure collects dust and other allergens as appose to spreading them into the air. The disinfectant also kills dust mites. In addition to that, a good vacuuming, preferably with a vacuum with a hepa filter. Best Vacuum for Allergies I do this about every 2 weeks. I live much better now than I did prior to doing all this. Visit our Allergy Shop for Allergy Cleaning Products.
